Tips for Your Next Brainstorming Session

At Minds Co-Work, we know how crucial brainstorming sessions are to the success of your business. And we want you to get the most out of those sessions because when you have a good idea, time is money.

Space

You want to hold your brainstorming session in a place that is both productive and inviting. Minds Co-Work has a variety of spaces to suit you and your team. Whether it is a large board room or a small private office space, we have the options that you’re looking for in the creative space you desire.

Prepare

And we don’t mean just you. Prepare your team ahead of time so that they know what is expected. It could be anticipated goals, the topic of conversation, and/or ideas surrounding a new launch. Be sure to send whatever helpful files you want your team to be familiar with before the meeting.

Write

Be sure to take accurate notes of everything so that you can send it out to your team that isn’t at the meeting. And whoever said there was such a thing as a bad idea? By writing down every idea that is presented, you and your team can brainstorm even further. Write them out on a whiteboard or screen so that everyone can see them.

People

Make sure to have the right team, and that everyone has an equal seat at the table. This could mean that you invite the shy ones who don’t speak up very often or the rookie in a different department. Everyone has ideas, and brainstorming meetings shouldn’t be filled with people who are only going to say ‘yes’ to everything.
