For most of us, life isn’t returning to normal any time soon. Some are headed back into the office and altering their workdays to avoid peak travel times, some are still working from home, and others are looking for new ways to work locally.
If you’re thinking of getting yourself a co-workspace and wondering just how the safety measures will work when you’re surrounded by people, fear not, we have thought of every little detail to ensure you are safe and comfortable while you make your dreams come true.
New Protocols to Create a Safer Work Environment
We require all our members to wear their masks at all times, in and around the space, and when using the common areas. Members and visitors will need to bring their own face masks as we will only have a limited amount of courtesy face masks for members and guests to utilize upon request.
We also advise our members to maintain a distance of at least 6 feet between you and others outside of your close collogue circle.
Since it’s safest to avoid any person-to-person contact, please leave handshakes, hugs, high-fives, or touch greetings at the door. Keep in mind not to share headsets or other items that are used near the mouth, ear, or nose.
In the event you feel unwell or sick, we ask that you please stay at home and only return upon full recovery.
Maintaining a Clean Environment for Members
We have taken the utmost care when it comes to cleaning to ensure that our workspace is safe and clean for all our members and guests.
Our team of professional commercial cleaning staff is on-site every weekend and Wednesday evening to sanitize and prepare the facility for the following days.
The days in between, our day-to-day cleaning team and the Minds staff will implement Clorox Healthcare Germicidal Cleaner (EPA Registered disinfectant) to their cleaning protocols; using this product on all high-risk surface areas such as facility door handles, common area and meeting rooms, fabric and leather furniture, desks, and chairs.
CDC approved faucet disinfectant will be used throughout the kitchen, and an anti-bacterial cleaner will be used on coffee carafes, water dispensers, remote controls for AV equipment and makers.
Our team will take their own body temperature upon arrival to the facility with a digital non-touch thermometer to ensure we are “fit for duty.”
The staff, just like members, will wear protective face masks at all times when we’re not at individual workstations, in addition to cleaning our workstations and exposed surfaces at the start of a shift, mid-day, and at the end of a shift. We will continue to actively encourage sick employees to stay home until they have been diagnosed and recuperated from any illness.
Clean Eating and Common Areas
When it comes to food and drink, we would never dream of depriving our members of their coffee. So, we just ask that all dirty dishes, cups, mugs, silverware be placed in the dishwasher to be properly cleaned. Do not leave any items in the sink.
We encourage you to please use your personalized mugs and water bottles. All plates, mugs, glasses, utensils, or serving dishes will be cleaned using the dishwasher or a dish detergent containing anti-bacterial components. Disposable tableware will be readily available and don’t worry, we are green.
